At County Scaffolding, on-site safety is an absolute priority for our staff, and for those who may be affected by our work.
Scaffolding is a high-risk activity and therefore health and safety is of paramount importance. Our aim is to create an environment completely free of work-related accidents. We carry out regular safety audits to ensure we are maintaining and constantly improving our quality control standards, safe working practices and usage of personal protective equipment. We also make sure our staff are always up-to-date with the most current health and safety legislation governing the scaffolding industry and ensure that they conform to it at all times.
Regular staff meetings are utilised to maintain safety awareness and ensure safe working practices are always applied. This means that we will only provide you with a fully qualified and experienced workforce for all of our scaffolding operations.
As well as operating under a full Health and Safety policy, we are fully compliant with C.D.M regulations and issue Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all contracts.
We have a proven track record for carrying out all of our services in a safe and efficient manner.
Any scaffolding erected by County Scaffolding Services Ltd. is initially run through current legislation software to show that our design is fully compliant. Should the software indicate that it is not compliant, then we would instruct our scaffold design engineer to undertake a bespoke design complete with drawing and calculations. All of the above is evidence of our commitment to safe working practices.
Our staff are provided with a full range of Personal Protection Equipment, including helmet, boots, gloves, safety goggles, harness and ear defenders. Staff Tool Box Talks are designed to increase safety awareness and ensure safe working practices are always maintained. It is our policy to issue site-specific Method Statements and detailed Risk Assessments of every job that the company is involved with.
